Joe has been a Senior Leader with a career spanning 37 years at Allied Signal and Johnson & Johnson. His experience spans across Procurement, Supply Chain, Operations Management, Program and Product line management. In his past 17 years at Johnson & Johnson, Joe has held several leadership positions of increasing scope. In both companies Joe has been a leader in the design and execution of Category Management and Supply Chain operating models. Joe currently serves as the leader of critical Supply Chain sourcing processes and is a member of the Johnson and Johnson Product Supply Leadership Team. He is the Executive Sponsor of the Construction Capital and Facilities Services Category. Prior to creating the Procurement Excellence team Joe served as Vice President and CPO for J&J’s Pharmaceutical Sector Supply Chain Procurement organization. Joe has a Bachelor of Arts from Ramapo College of New Jersey and a Master of Business Administration from Fairleigh Dickinson University. He has worked as an Adjunct Professor of Business at Ramapo College of New Jersey and has served as a thought leader, keynote and chairman for several industry forums.
Philip is Vice President of IBM global procurement. Philip brings extensive experience in all aspects of supply chain management, including supply chain strategy and operations, planning, supply assurance, strategic sourcing, global logistics, procurement engineering, as well as supply chain outsourcing and consulting services.
Current Roles and Responsibilities
Philip is responsible from end to end procurement from source to pay in the area of services and general procurement. To support and enable IBM’s cognitive solution and cloud business for all business units in all the countries of Asia Pacific. His AP procurement team is using agile way of working, co-located with internal stakeholders, partnering with external suppliers, bringing supplier enabled innovation into IBM’s offering solutions.
Continuously driving procurement transformation, implementing all new era technologies, ie. Cognitive, Block Chain, Data Analytics, IOT, etc. to become cognitive and digitalized world class procurement.
Richard Crane is currently the Sr. Vice President of Commodity Management where he is responsible for commodity strategy, sourcing, and supplier management for direct spend across all business groups of Royal Philips. In addition, he is also the Head of Procurement for the North American market where is oversees both direct and indirect spend.
Prior to joining Philips, Richard was Vice President of Procurement Mobility, and Logistics at Siemens Corporation where was responsible for driving productivity and cost savings across all Siemens businesses within North America. He began his career with Siemens in 1992 where he has held several procurement, supply chain, and project management roles across the company.
Richard Crane holds a BA in Business Economics from the University of California at Santa Barbara, and an MBA in Transnational Management from Fordham University.
Russell is a 20-year seasoned procurement leader growing from a sourcing specialist for direct materials with expanded experience leading sourcing team cross categories and regions. His >15 years experience in GE Healthcare & AstraZeneca as emerging sourcing leader, global category leader has enriched his perspective of procurement’s value beyond cost. He is also an affirmative believer that procurement is playing a more significant role in today’s fast changing world driven by internet, Artificial Intelligence and process automation. In his recent role as Head of China Procurement for FMCG, PHARMACUTICAL industries, he has been actively exploring business partnering model to foster external innovations into meaningful solutions for the businesses. Driven by genuine desire to empower procurement professionals to transform to respected business partners, he has co-developed procurement business partnering workshops with an respected executive coach to improve critical skills in procurement including influencing, business acumen, coaching and change management as well as required mindset shift during procurement transformation.
He is a regular marathon runner and snowboarding lover, a co-active coach pursing meaningful life purpose of empowering people to explore and express their potential.
